Stellana U.S.

Magazine Advertisement

This international advertisement was built to sell Stellana U.S. wheels to companies in the material handling industry. Because the Stellana U.S. was giving away a Harley-Davidson motorcycle as an incentive, the advertisement was designed to incorporate the Harley-Davidson color scheme and wing effect. Stellana U.S. went on to use this artwork in other international marketing promotions.

This advertisement represents one of three formats used.

network

Network

Magazine Wrap

This advertisement was designed to be an eye catching subscription renewal form, as evidenced by the bright green and yellow color scheme. Because the form was a wrap (i.e. located over the cover of the actual publication) it had to closely resemble the cover of the publication so that it would be recognizable upon delivery. In order to create the look of a Network subscriber, the reader in the advertisement was photographed reading a different magazine. Then, the Network publication was placed over the original to make it appear that he had been reading Network all along!
